Exploration of the Mechanism of Kudzu Root in theTreatmentof Migraine Based on Network Pharmacology

【Abstract】Objective:To explore the potential molecular mechanism of kudzu root in the treatment of migraine by using network pharmacology methods.Methods:Through database retrieval and prediction,the active components and potential targets of kudzu root were screened out and a drug -target-disease network wasconstructed. The gene ontology(G0) functional enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis wereconducted to reveal the multi-target and multi-pathwaymechanism of kudzu rootin thetreatmentof migraine.Results:The core targets of kudzu root inthe treatment of migraine were TP53,SRC,AKT,MAPK3,and STAT3.The results of GO functional enrichment analysis mainly involved inflammatory responses.The KEGG pathway enrichment analysis revealed that kudzu root in the treatmentof migraine mainly involved neuroactive ligand-receptor interactions,nitrogen metabolism,etc.Conclusion: Kudzurot exerts its therapeutic efect onmigraine by intervening in neurotransmitter transmisson, inflammatory response, nitrogen metabolism regulation, etc.
