Abstract: 【Objective】 In urban landscape design,landscape plants can not only beautify the environment,but also have important ecological value and cultural attributes.This paper discussed the problems such as unreasonable resource allocation and lack of diversity in the selection of traditional garden landscape plant models in order to provide a reference for urban greening.【Method】 In this paper,a data integration system for landscape plants based on Excel was designed.First of all,according to the principles of garden design,parameters that can change dynamically were set up.Based on the factors such as plant volume,morphological information,color and smell,time sequence and cost,interactive auxiliary analysis toolsand parameter models were established through functional programming and VB scripting language. The experiment took Lanzhou landscaping as an example.【Result】 The results showed that the integrated system can accurately select suitable native plants (such as sea buckthorn,false indigo,drooping willow,etc.)according to the special climate (drought,sand and salinization)in northwest China,and form diversified design schemes.Compared with the traditional manual screening method,the system technology module wassignificantly superior to the traditional method in data retrieval efficiency(up to 93% ),cost estimation accuracy ( 89.75% on average)and ecological adaptability guidance,especially the recommendation accuracy of drought-tolerant plants was increased.【Conclusion】 This system provided a scientific and localized plant allocation scheme for landscaping in northwest China,solved the problems of low plant survival rate and landscape homogeneity in the high-cold and arid environment,and improved the regional ecological protection efficiency through intelligent scree-ning of sand-fixing plants such as sea buckthorn and Caragana.It is of great significance to provide scientific guidance for urban greening in northwest China and promote the sustainable development of landscape architecture.
