Effect of fertility information support on reproductive concerns in cancer patients of childbearing age：a Metaanalysis

AbstractObjective：To systematically evaluate the effects of fertility information support on fertility anxiety in cancer patients of childbearing age.Methods：Randomized controlled trials and quasi trial studies on the effects of fertility information support on fertility anxiety in cancer patients of childbearing age were retrieved from PubMed，EMbase，the Cochrane Library，CINAHL，Web of Science，CNKI，VIP，WanFang Database and CBM.The search period was from the establishment of the database to April 2023，and RevMan 5.4 software was used for Metaanalysis.Results：A total of 10 articles were included，including 7 randomized controlled trials and 3 quasi trial studies，involving 883 patients.The results of Metaanalysis showed that fertility information support can increase reproductive knowledge（SMD=0.27，95％CI 0.100.44，P=0.002），alleviate reproductive anxiety（SMD=－2.23，95％CI －3.21－1.26，P＜0.000 01），and improve childbearing decisionmaking conflicts in cancer patients of reproductive age（MD=－9.85，95％CI －13.27－6.44，P＜0.000 01），but the effect of reducing childbearing decisionmaking regret is limited.Conclusion：Fertility information support can improve the fertility knowledge of cancer patients of childbearing age，reduce the level of fertility anxiety and the conflict of childbearing decision.
