Qualitative research on patients′ real experience after transcatheter aortic valve replacement：a Meta-integration

Abstract Objective：To systematically evaluate the real experience of patients with aortic stenosis after transcatheter aortic valve replacement （TAVR） and provide evidence for medical staff to carry out relevant interventions and promote patients′ overall health.Methods：Qualitative research on the real experience of patients after TAVR was retrieved from PubMed，Web of Science，EMbase，the Cochrane Library，CINAHL，China National Knowledge Infrastructure （CNKI），China Biomedical Literature Database，VIP Database，and WanFang Database.The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to January 31，2023. The quality of the included studies was evaluated according to the JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Quality Evaluation Standard，and the results were integrated using the Meta-integration method.Results：A total of 5 documents were included，15 research results were extracted，and the research results were summarized into 8 new categories and 4 integrated results （patients′ self-reconstruction experience after TAVR，emotional experience after TAVR，physical rehabilitation experience after TAVR，and disease coping experience after TAVR）.Conclusions：The real experience of patients after TAVR involves many aspects and is diverse. Medical staff should provide multi-faceted care and health education combined with patients′ experience to help them improve their quality of life and experience.
