春运

The Chunyun， or Spring Festival travel rush， is a large-scale transportation phenomenon in China that occurs around the Chinese New Year. It typically starts 15 days before the holiday and lasts until about 25 days after. During this period， hundreds of millions of Chinese people travel back to their hometowns to reunite with their families. The volume of passenger traffic far surpasses the annual peak of any other country， earning it the title of "the largest human migration on Earth."
