New materials for the flora of karst areas in Guangxi

Abstract：Theproposed Southwest KarstNationalPark（Guangxi area），hasastrong original subtropical karstforest ecosystem and karst cave ecosystem，and breeding richand diverse wildlife plant resources.Inorder to explore the background dataon plant diversityand provide important information for the proposed Southwest Karst National Park （Guangxi area），yearsof fieldwork，literature materialscollctionand specimen identificationin thispaper，and subsequently，four new record genera and 25 speciesof plants are found from thisareas.Among this25 new recorded plants，mostof themare karst endemicand haveobviouskarstadaptability，which makes these plants have potential utilization value insoiland waterconservation，ock desertificationcontrol，and ecosystemrestoration.Inaddition，they have certain developmentandutilizationvalue，such ascan beused for medicine，landscaping，and breeding new varieties.The discoveryof these species is notonlyan important manifestationof the plantdiversityinthe karstareas of Guangxi，but alsoadds new information for the plant resourceof the proposed Southwest Karst National Park.And moreover it has important reference value for further plants protection research and development and utilization，which makes protection work of karstareas in Guangxi sientificallyand effectively.The paperalsoprovides descriptionsof various main morphological characteristics，specimen citations，color photos and geographical distribution，etc.
