Qianli Style is a mother-of-pearl inlaid lacquerware designcreated by Jiang Qianli， a famous lacquerware maker inthe late Ming and early Qing Dynasties， which representedthe highest level of mother-of-pearl inlaying process inthe Ming Dynasty. Its formation mirrors historical status ofhandicraft production by the craftsmen in the commercialsociety of the late Ming Dynasty.
