Abstract:In thepower systems witha high proportion of renewable energy integration,aiming at the problem ofallocating charging anddischarging power among large-scaleenergy storageunitswith different initial statesof charge(SOC)levels,a refined energy management and control strategy for energy storage power stations based on multi-agent theoryis proposed.For large-scale centralized energy storage powerstations,anagent-based control architecture for energy storage units is constructed.The charging and discharging power of the power conversion system(PCS)and the SOC are mapped to thevelocityand position variables of the particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm respectively,and anoptimization model considering power limits and SOC balancing constraints is established.Simulationresultsdemonstrate that theproposed strategy canachieve theprecise management of multipleenergy storage units within the station,and enableunits with inconsistent initial states to graduallyreach a balanced SOC during operation.
