Abstract  Objective：To translate Basic Resuscitation Skills Self⁃Efficacy Scale（BRS⁃SES） and to test its reliability and validity.Methods：Follow the Brislin translation mode to sinicize BRS⁃SES into Chinese version.A total of 502 clinical nurses from a tertiary grade A hospital in Anhui province were selected by convenience sampling method for survey to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of BRS⁃SES.Results：In exploratory factor analysis，three common factors with eigenvalues>1 were extracted，and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 65.50%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitting indicators of the Chinese version of BRS⁃SES had all reached the fitness standard.The scale⁃content validity index of the Chinese version of BRS⁃SES was 0.972， the Cronbach's a coefficient was 0.939，and the retest reliability after 2 weeks was 0.874.Conclusions：The Chinese version of BRS⁃SES has good reliability and validity，and can be used to evaluate the self⁃efficacy of nursing in basic resuscitation skills.
