Study on Physical Properties of Waste Engine Oil Recycled Asphalt

【Abstract】:Inorder to explore the improvement and recovery laws of the physical properties of aged asphalt byusing waste engine oil,this paper prepares agedasphalt in the laboratory,studies the influence of wasteengine oil content on the physical performance indicators of regenerated asphalt such as penetration,softening point, ductility,andBrinell viscosity,and determines the optimal amountof wasteengine oil.Itis thencombined with epoxy soybean oil to enhance the ductility recovery efect,analyze the regeneration mechanismof waste oil from aged asphalt through infrared spectroscopy experiments.The results show that the softening point and Brinellviscosityof recycled asphalt decrease with the increase of waste engineoil content,whilethe penetrationand ductility increase with the increase of waste engine oil content.Epoxy soybean oil can improve the ductility of aged asphalt,and the addition of 10% waste engine oil+ 5% epoxy soybean oil can improve the physical properties of recycled asphalt.
