基于树梢聚类算法的防护林单木树高估测

Abstract:Treehightisanimportantcharacteristicofforeststandructureinshelterbelts,nditsaccuratemeasurementelpsto clearlyrflettegrowthconditionofteshelterbeltTheshelerbeltinNortnXinjiangarecharacterizedydiversetreespecies regularcrownshapes,overlappingcrowns,anddensevegetation.Traditionalmethodsoftreeheightestimation,whichareprimarily manualsamplingsurveys,suferfromlowprecisionandeficiency.Thisstudyproposesanovelalgorithmbasedonmachine-cadLiDARdataforclusteringtre crows.Thealgorithmfirstemploysasliding windowtechniquetoextracttreetopsandcrowns,thenuses clusteringtouatelydetectsingletepositiosubseuntlytperfsascondusteingarondteetecedsingleitionstoobtainacloudofsingletreepointsandextractsthehighestpointastheestimatedtreeheight.Thismethodnotonlyenhances theprecisionoftreeheightestimationbutalsoeliminatesthecumbersomefieldsurveywork.Theresearchfidingsindicatethathealgorithm can efectively adapt to the selected research area’s stand structure and terrain environment,achieving over 60 % accuracy in single tree detection across three research areas.For the detected trees,it can reach an accuracy of over 8 8 % when compared with field surveydataforestimatingtreeheight.Thisstudyprovidesvaluablereferencesandgudanceformachine-carredLiDARinforeststand structure explorationand treeheight estimation.
