ARapid Simulation Method for Crashworthinessof Body Partsunder SideImpacts Driven by Model Order Reduction

【Abstract】Aiming at theproblemsof highcomputational costand loweficiency in the whole-vehiclecollision simulation,combiningthemodeldowgrading technologyandthebodypartsimulationstrategy,thispaperproposesanecient bodypart performance simulationand verificationmethod.Thekeycomponentsareplaced inthe body subsystem for crashworthinesssimulationverification,byplacingthebodyontherigidground,setingthecontactandfrictionfactors,and reproducing the motion atitudeof the whole vehicle toensure the simulation accuracy.Using shrinkageenvelope mesh to replace thenon-crash sideof thebodystructuresignificantlyreduces thenumberofcellmeshes,andachievesmodelorder reduetionandthecomputational eficiencyimprovement.Theresultsshow thatthesimulationeficiencyof thereduced-order modelhasbeeninereasedbyabout45times,whichenablestherapidverificationandoptimizationofthesimulationofkeybody parts while ensuring the simulation accuracy.
