[ABSTRACT]As arare pulp lesion，internal tooth resorption often has no obvious clinical symptoms and signs and is only accidentallyidentifiedduringmedicalimaging examination，anditsdiagnosisandtreatmenthavealwaysbeenadificultissuefor dentists.Misdiagnosisormiseddiagnosisofthisdiseasecanleadtothfailureinrootcanaltherapyandevenrootfractureandpre maturetoothlossThisarticlereviewstheetiology，diagnosis，andtreatmentof iternaltothresorptionandsummaresthelatest researchadvances，inorder toprovidetheoreticalsupportandtreatmentstrategiesfordentistsinthediagnosisandtreatmetofinternal tooth resorption in clinical practice and further improve the success rate of diagnosis and treatment.
