Parameter Optimization of Mechanized Charging Cut Blasting in Railway Tunnel Construction

[ABSTRACT]Inorderto realize theapplicationof intellgent blasting technology intunnels,parameteroptimizationof mechanized chargingcut blasting inrailway tunnel blasting construction wasstudied.Therange of spacing between the hollowhole andthecentral of the holow hole has beendeterminedthrough theoretical calculations.UsingLS-DYNA numerical simulation software,simulation studies were conductedon blasting schemes with a distance of 12.5,22.5cmand 42.5cm betweenthecenterof the hollow holeand the hollow hole within the theoretical range.Efective stress,damage evolution, andblasting vibrationofthebotomcrosectioofthehole,crosectioatadistanceof1/2ofthelengthof theblasthole fromthe detonation center,and thecrossectionat the orifice ineach simulation scheme were analyzed.The results show thatas the distance betweenthecentral hollow holeand the holow hole increases,thepeak effective stress andthedamage areain hecuting areashow atrend offirst increasing and then decreasing,andtheaverage blasting vibration velocity showsadecreasingtrend.Thetheslot penetration gradually becomes worse.Aftercomprehensive analysis ofthree blasting models,the distance between the center cut hole andthe hollow hole was determined tobe2.5cm.Afterapplying theoptimizedblastingparameters toon-siteblasting,itwasfoundthattherock fragmentationratesignificantlydecreased,withan average linear over excavation reduction of 19.23% . The blasting outcome was good.
