Screening of Sepsis-Associated Circular RNAs and Construction of Competing Endogenous RNA Networks

[Abstract]Objective:To explore the regulatoryroleof non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs),particularlylong non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs),inthepathological progressionofsepsis,toidentifynvelbiomarkersforarlydiagnosis,andtoiscover potential therapeutic targets for intervening in immune imbalance.Methods:Peripheral blood samples frompatients with sepsisand healthy individualswerecollected.Wesystematicallyanalyzed the specific expression profilesof lncRNAs in sepsis through ceRNA microarray technology. We investigatedtheregulatory mechanisms oflncRNAs insepsis byintegating theinteractionnetworksof microRNAs(miRNAs)and circularRNAs(circRNAs).Results:The studyrevealed that IncRNAsexhibitedsignificant diferential expresion insepsis,including248up-regulatedand26down-regulated lncRNAs withdiferential expression.CombiningGOenrichmentanalysisandKEGGpathwayclasificationanalysis,theesults indicatedthat lncRNAsmightparticipate intheregulationof inflammatorystormsand immunosuppressonthrough the ceRNA mechanism.Certain IncRNAs were closely asociated with immune imbalance in sepsis,demonstrating potential as biomarkers or therapeutic targets.Conclusion:lncRNAsplayacriticalrole inthepathological progresionofsepsis.Their specific expresionprofilesprovidenovelcandidate biomarkers forearlydiagnosisof sepsisandoferpotentialtargets for therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune dysregulation.
