【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect of auricular point seed-pressing and olanzapine on negative symptomsandcognitive function inschizophrenia patients.MethodsAsingle-center，randomized controled trial wasconducted toselect112 inpatientswithschizophrenia from our hospital fromOctober 2O22 to October2023. According to therandom number table method，they wererandomlydivided into a control groupanda study group ataratio of 1：1，with 56 cases ineach group.The control group was treated with olanzapine，while the study group was treated with auricular point seed -pressing combined with olanzapine.Thepositive and negative syndrome scale （PANSS），the scale for the assessment of negative symptoms （SANS），and the repeatable battry for the assessment of neuropsychological Status （RBANS） scoreswere compared beforeand after the intervention in both groups.ResultsDuring the study，6patients in the study group dropped out due to intolerance to auricular point presing pain or lossto follow-up，and6 patients in thecontrol group dropped out due to lack of effect or lossto folow-up.Ultimately，5O cases inthe study groupand 5O cases in the control group were included in the statistical analysis.Before treatment，therewasno statisticallsignificant diference inPANSS，SANS，andRBANS scores between the two groups （P>0.05） .After12and 16 weeksof treatment，there were statistically significant differences in PANSS， SANS，and RBANS scores between the two groups （P<0.05） .Conclusion The combination of auricular point seed-pressing and Olanzapine can effctively improve the negative symptoms of schizophrenia patients，linguistic function and delayed memory function.
