Abstract:A ZG310-57O pulley shaftseat fractured during service.Through the analysis and verification of the fractured shaft seat, including fracture observation, chemical composition analysis, microstructural examination, and mechanical property testing,the results show that: the ZG310-57O shaft seat exhibits typical britle fracture characteristics, with most of the fracture surface being cleavage planes and a smallnumber of secondary cracks in local areas.The microstructure of the fractured shaft seat mainly consists of Widmanstatten structure and intragranularacicular ferite,along with avery smallamount oflamellar pearlite.Its chemicalcompositionmeets thestandardrequirements,and there are extremely fewoxide inclusions inlocalregions.The britle Widmanstätten structureis the maincauseof theshaftseatfracture.Thefractureoriginatedfromthecoreofthepart,andthecracks propagated from thecore to the surroundings,forming river patterns,which eventually led to the fracture of the entire part.
