Abstract:To address thechallenges of clean energy supply in complex environments,anacoustic-electric power system based on polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)piezoelectric films is proposed to achieve self-powering for low-power devices through eficient environmental acousticenergy harvesting andconversion.Byanalyzing the spectral characteristics of sound sources in high voltage substations,mountainous regions,marine environments,and rainyconditions,combined with the acoustic focusing efect ofa sound concentratorand COMSOL acoustic simulations,thestructure and layout of the acoustic-electricconversionarrayare optimized.The circuit design employs Schotkydiode rectification,a1Fsupercapacitor for energystorage,and a TPS639OO voltage regulator chip to ensure stable power output.Results demonstrate that the proposed acoustic-electric conversion array with its optimal configuration enhances the collected sound pressure to 387.8% of the original emission pressure,efficiently capturing environmental acoustic energy within10Hz-2OkHz.The circuit design theoreticallyachievesa stable outputof1.8-5.OV,efectivelyresolving acoustic energy fluctuations.Experimental validation inalaboratory environment with 40-45 dB sound pressure level(SPL)confirmed the prototype’s robust voltage output response acrossthe primary audible frequency band.The design providesa novel solution for energyself-supply in specialized scenarios.Futurework will focus onoptimizing material and circuiteficiency toadvance its large-scale applications.
