Abstract:To clarifythedeflection mechanismof conductor in directional piling process,thegoverning diferential equationof the whole conductor in the directional piling process was established.The equation was solved using thefinitediference method,acalculation program wasdeveloped,andadirectional pilingdeflectioncalculationmodelofconductor was proposed.Moreover,theinfluencesofkeyfactorsonthedirectional piling ofsetbehaviorofconductor were investigated.Theresultsshow that as thebevel angleattheconductorshoe increases from (204号 10∘ to 60∘ ,the lateral deflection at the conductor tip increases at identical penetration depths,and as the penetrationdepthcontinuously increases,the lateraldeflectiondiferencebetween thetipsof conductors with diferent bevel anglesgraduall increases.The larger the conductordiameter,the greater its bending stiffnessis,making thelateraldeflectionatconductor tipatidentical penetrationdepthssmaller.Takingablock inthe South China Sea asanexample,the directional piling deflection behaviorof theconductor was calculated and analyzed.It is revealed that the maximum calculation error is 7.06% as compared with the measured data,and 6.56% as compared with the finite element method,verifying theaccuracyof thecalculation model.The study resultsprovide theoretical guidance forthe field collisionand obstacle avoidance during directional piling ofconductors.
