Experimental Study on the Performance of Sodium-Ion Power Battery Cells

【Abstract]Inorder to investigate the working characteristics of sodium-ion power batery under practical application conditions,this papercomparesandanalyzes through experimenttheperformanceofsodiumion power bateryand lithiumironphosphate battery withthesame volume.Results indicate that sodium-ion power batery has god charge and discharge capacityat high temperature,normal temperatureandlow temperature,anditschargeand discharge temperatureriseis lower thanthatof lithium ironphosphatebatery.Atnormal temperature,after22O4charginganddischarging cycles,the capacity of sodium battery remains at 82.02% . At a temperature of 45C ,the capacity of sodium battery remains at 80.56% after1 565 charging and discharging cycles.Results also indicate that at a low temperature of -30C ,the performance of sodium-ionbatteryissignificantlybeterthanthatoflithium-ironphosphatebatterymaking itmoresuitableaspowerbatery for new energy vehicles insevere cold areas.
