ResearchProgressin Isatidis Radix and Predictive Analysisof ItsQuality Markers

Abstract：Isatidis Radix is atraditional Chinese medicinal material with the functions of clearing heatand detoxifying， cooling blood，and sothing the throat.Modernpharmacological studies have shown that Isatidis Radix contains various activecomponents such as alkaloids，glucosinolates，phenylpropanoids，nucleosides，organic acids，and amino acids. It exhibits pharmacological efects including antiviral，antibacterial，anti-endotoxin，antitumor，immunomodulatory， andanti-inflammatoryactivities.Thisarticlesystematicallsummarizes thechemical compositionand pharmacological effects of Isatidis Radix in recent years.Basedon the theory of traditional Chinese medicine quality markers（QMarkers），apredictiveanalysis of the Q-Markers of Isatidis Radix is conducted from multiple perspectives，including plant phylogenyand specificityofcomponents，traditional eficacyand properties，newly identified pharmacological effcts，and changes incomponents beforeand after processing.Itisproposed that lignancompounds such as lariciresinol，lariciresinol glycoside，isolariciresinol，and clematineB；nucleosidessuchascytidine，uridine， adenosine，and guanosine；alkaloids such as indigo，indirubin， （R，S） -epigoitrin，and epigoitrin；organic acids such as salicylic acid，benzoic acid，syringic acid，and anthranilicacid；as well as terpenoids，flavonoids，and polysaccharides could serve as potential candidates for Q-Markersof Isatidis Radix.This analysis provides a reference for improving the quality control system of Isatidis Radix.
