【Abstract】:Inorder to explore the efectofheavydynamic loadonthemechanical characteristicsof the pavementof expressway widening project,the finite element method was used to calculate and analyze the maximum tensile stress of pavement surface layer,base and subbase under different setlement and axle load conditions,and theeffctsofdynamic loadand staticload was compared.Theresults show that themaximum tensile stress of eachstructural layer of the widened expressway pavement significantly increases with the increaseof diferential settlementandaxle load.Withoutconsidering dynamic additionalloads,the maximum tensile stress generated by moving loads on the pavement structure layer is lessthanthatof static loads.When considering dynamic additional loads,the maximum tensile stress on the pavement surface,base and subase of expressway widening projects underdifferent axle loads and differential setlement conditions is much greater than thatunder static loads.
