Abstract:The upgrade project at a wastewater treatment plant inan Anhui industrial park involves a capacity of 5×104m3/d .It aimsto elevate theefluentqualityfromtheClassIAstandadspecifiedintheEissonStandardforolutantsfromUrbanSeuageTreatmentPlants(GB 18918—2002)to Class IV ( TN⩽15mg/L) stipulated inthe SurfaceWater Environmental Quality Standard(GB 3838—2oo2).This upgradingprojectdthgoftreaticaltsdattramtosofduslakst design of high eficiencysedimentationtank,enhancingchemicalphosphorusremoval,andreducingpackingclogging.Italsoemployedacombined ozone catalytic oxidation + aerated biological filter process.Theproject costs approximatelyRMB52 million,withanupgrading treatmentcostofRB.78pertoeofwater.Tisfcantlyeancesthefuntqualityotewastewatertreatentplanteducesoa tional expenses,and contributes to the sustainable economic development of the industrial park.
