Abstract:Basednthevlailityofeneableenerladingtopowercurtalmentisss,thispaertakeapracticalprojetinsuaae studytoivestigateatechnoeconomicschemethatusesamoltensalttheralenergystoragesystemtoconvertcurtailedpowerintotheral energyforsuplyingheattochemicalplantsBasedonanualpowercurtailmentdatatheimpactofdiferentombinationsofelectriceater powerandthealtoragcapacityontecurtailmentutilizationrateandinvestmentpabackperiodisanalydTheesultsindicatethatthe system can effectively recover 50%~60% of the curtailed power,with an electric heater power of 2Oo MW and a thermal storage capacity of 1500MWhidentifidasteoptialsolution,ieldingthsortestpabackperod(.69years)Testudyigightsthatheitiastein vestmentisakctorioicblitnderatioaaeustbaidtosussuchsosaltatre sion,and system switching.
