Abstract：【Obective】Toinvestigatethespatialpatersofcoarsewoodydebris （CWD）andthervariationalongaltudinalgradients inthetemperateconiferousforestsofWuyimountainnationalparkandtoprovideascientificbasisforthesustainablemanagement andecologicalprotectionoftheforestforinthsemountainousregios.【Method】Takingthetemperatecoiferousforestslocatedat four altitudinal gradients（130o，140o，1500 and 1600m ）in Wuyi mountainas the research subjects，we conducted acomprehensive surveyofCoarseWoodyDebrisitintheseforestsBasedonthissurveyweusedpotpateanalysistoxaminethesatialates andspatialaotiosofitentraceissoisteaagndeese）atchde. 【Result】1） The number of CWD in different diameter classes at allaltitudes followed the patten：diameter class I> diameter class II> diameterclas I;2）eproportooftadgeadodieadwitevatiorestrbutisoflllog deadbranchesandstumpsdidotfollowasimilarpatern;3）CWgenerallexhibitedacumpeddistributionwithinasmallsale （0.4m） ，andthescaleofthiscumpedpateexpandedwithincreasingelevation;4）Thespatialassociationbetweendecayclassand ofCWDgaduallysfdfrompositivtosignifcatwitireasigaltitude;sizasesandIdisplaedapositiveoeatio atsmallscales，hichintensifiedwithelevation【Conclusion】TheCWinthetemperateconiferousforestsofWuyimountainexibit analtitudinalepdcgegaalesisteeialldgadr）ai differentdecystagesanddameterclasses.Thefndingsofthisstudynotonlyprovideanewperspectiveforelucidatingtheresponse patensofCWDspatialdistrbutionalongaltitudialgradientsbutalsolaythefoundatonforfurtherreseachonthealtitudalpaes of CWD carbon storage in the forest floor of Wuyi mountain's temperate coniferous forests.
