Abstract：The core qualities reflected in the Bethune spirit，which embodies the characteristics and professional traits of the red doctor spirit，such as the“benevolent heart of a healer，”“boundless love，”and “willngness to dedicate，” are spiritual paradigms widely recognized and highly praised by the medical communityand the whole society.These qualities are also an important component ofthe red doctor spirit in the new era.In the process of practicing the Bethune spirit，countless good doctors like Bethune in China have been constantly enriching and expanding theconnotation of the Bethune spirit，making it the most iconic spiritual trait of Chinese medical culture.The Bethune spirit not only needs to be inherited but also needs to be continuously promoted and infused with new value and significance.The Bethune spirit in the new era is the most concentrated embodiment of the noble medical spirit，the value pursuit of medical education，and the spiritual impetus for the construction ofa healthy China. Carrying forward the Bethune spirit has significant guiding value and practical significance，especiall in the process of promoting the construction of a community of common health for mankind，
