Abstract：Hypertension in middle-agedand young adults has its particularity，which is related to long-term excessive stressand unhealthylifestyles.Depression and firerun through the whole processof the disease.This paper starts fromtheperspectivesof depressionandfire，and basedonthesix typesofdepresion，itexplores theassociation betweenpathological factors andthepathogenesis ofhypertension inmiddle-agedandyoung adults.Italso identifies the fireof each viscus andthepathogenesis of hypertension in middle-agedand young adults according to thecauses offire. Follwing the principles that depression should be dispersed and fire should be cleared，this papersystematically and theoreticallydiscusses thesyndrome diferentiation and treatmentof hypertension in middle-aged and young adults， providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment with Chinese medicine.
