【Abstract】This review focuses on the delayed graduation issue in standardized residency training for general practitioners （，onductingosatalomparativeaalyssof taingstes，urrtsatusofelaysoting factors，andreformstrategiesacross1representativedevelopedanddevelopingcountries.Fdingsrevealthatdelayedgaduation inglobalGPRTprogramsiswidespread，withpostponementratesinfluencedbymultiplefactorsincludingclinicalrsource shortages，elevaedemntsadads，ublicalthergeniesndidentsetalalthallgs.veloig face morepronouncedchallengesduetoregionalresourcedisparities.Nationsdemonstratediffrentiatedcountermeasures：the UnitedStatesoptimies trainngpathwaysthroughdynamicassessmentmechanisms，Japanenhances grasrootsphysicianretention viapolicyincentives，whileChinastrengthens trainingprocessmanagementtroughdigital technologies.Thestudyproposesthat resolving thisisueequirescordinatedefortsacrostreedimensions：restructuingadaptivetrainingmodels，buildingspporive ecosystemnetworks，anditerating crisis response mechanisms.This approachseeks tobalance eficiency with humanisticcare， standardization with personalization，ultimatelyenhancing theresilienceof general practiceeducationand healthcare service quality.
