【Abstract】Background Cognitive impairment is acore symptom in patients with schizophrenia，and compensatory cognitive training has beenshowntobeanefective intervention.However，most existing studies employofline modes， with limitedresearchonmobile healthAPP-based compensatorycognitive training.ObjectiveThis study aimedto evaluate theintervention efectsand mechanismsofmobilehealthAPP-basedcompensatorycognitive training instableschizophrenia patients.MethodsAtotalof58patientswith stableschizophreniafrom NingxiaNing'anHospital（JunetoDecember2023） were randomized into a control group（ n=29 ）and an intervention group（ n=29 ）.The control group received conventional therapyandregularfollow-up，while the intervention groupunderwent additionalmobile health APP-based compensatory cognitivetrainingfor12weeks.CognitivefunctionandqualityoflifewereassessedusingtheBriefAssessmentofCognitioninSchizophrenia（BACS）andtheSchizophrenia Qualityof Life Scale（SQLS），respectively.Pre-and post-intervention scores were compared，and mediation analysis was conducted to explore the relationship between group，BACS，and SQLS scores.ResultsOfthe initialcohort，27patients ineach groupcompleted the study.At12 weeks，the interventiongroup demonstrated significantly higher BACS total scores and subscale scores（digit sequence，towerof london，verbal memor， semantic fluency，and word fluency）compared to the control group（ P<0.05 ）. Additionally， SQLS total scores psychosocial and motivational-energetic dimension scores were significantly lower in the intervention group （ P<0.05 ）.Mediation analysis revealed that BACSscores partiallymediated the relationshipbetween interventionsubgroups and SQLSscores（indirect effect was -0.240 ， 95%CI ranged from -0.556 to -0.05o）.Conclusion Implementing mHealth APP-based compensatory cognitivetrainingforstableschizophreniapatientsefectivelyenhancesbothcognitivefunctioningandqualityoflife.Moreover，it contributes to an individual's perception ofa higher quality of ife by improving overallcognitive functioning.
