Rose: We are roses. We look pretty and smell good. We are not very strong. But we have thorns(刺) to scare off animals. Then they can’t eat our beautiful flowers.
Cactus: We are cacti or cactuses. We live in the hot, dry desert. The animals would like to drink the water and juice in our bodies. So we cover our bodies with many spines. They can hurt animals and your hands.
Panda Plant: I’m a panda plant. My leaves are covered with thick hairs. The bugs cannot get through the hairs to eat my leaves.
Poison Ivy: I’m poison ivy. The juice in my leaves is very dangerous. It can cause an itchy rash on your skin. Don’t ever try to touch me!
Tomato: I’m a tomato. I make my leaves taste very bad, so that animals don’t like to eat me.
