【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the clinical value of targeted nursing in thyroid cancer surgery patients during the perioperative period.MethodsAtotalof162 thyroid cancersurgerypatients admited tothe hospital from August203 to May2024 wereselected.Basedonbaancedbaselinecharacteristics（gender，age，BMI，etc.），theywereradomlydividedinto a control group （routine nursing， n=81 ）and an observation group （targeted nursing， n=81 ）. Comparisonswere made between the twogroupsregardingnegativeemotions，surgery-relatedindicators，complicationrates，painlevels，ursingsatisaction， and shoulder-neck functional recovery. ResultsBefore nursing intervention，there were no statisticallsignificant differences in self-rating anxiety scale （SAS），self-ratingdepresion scale （SDS），or numericalrating scale （NRS）scores betweenthe two groups （P>0.05） .After intervention，both groups showed reduced scores，but the observation group had significantly lower scores than the control group （P<0.05） .Compared with the control group，the observation group demonstrated shorter preoperative preparationtime，shorter hospital stays，lesspostoperative bleeding，lowercomplication rates，higher nursing satisfaction， and better shoulder-neck functional recovery （all P<0.05 ）.Conclusion Targeted nursing effectively prevents postoperativecomplications，optimizessurgery-relatedindicators，aleviatespainandnegativeemotions，andsignificantly improves patients' quality of life.
