OUTLINE / Opera National du Capitole de Toulous resumed its opera seasonwith a new production of Rusalka. Director Stefano Poda pursued a purelyvisual aesthetic， presenting a fantasy stage that transcended reality. Apart fromthe prince's servants picking up plastic bottles on stage at the beginning of thesecond act， there was hardly any imprint of modern life.
