Abstract  Objective:To construct evaluation index system of core competence in clinical instructors of master of nursing specialist(MNS) for the elderly.Methods:The first draft of evaluation index system of core competence in clinical instructors of MNS for the elderly was drawn up by literature reviews and semi⁃structured interviews.The Delphi method was used to conduct 2 rounds of consultation with 24 experts,and the weight of indexes was determined by analytic hierarchy process.Results:In the 2 rounds of expert consultation,the effective response rate of experts were 100.0% and 83.3% respectively,the rate of expert opinions were 54.2% and 35.0% respectively, the expert authority coefficient were 0.893 and 0.903 respectively,and the Kendall coordination coefficient were 0.210 and 0.403 respectively (all P<0.001).The final evaluation index system of core competence in clinical instructors of MNS for the elderly included 6 first⁃level indicators,15 second⁃level indicators,and 57 third⁃level indicators.Conclusions:The evaluation index system of core competence in clinical instructors of MNS for the elderly is scientific and reliable,which can provide reference for selection and assessment of clinical instructors.
