Treatment of Metabolic Syndrome Based on Theory of "Yang Transforming into Qi and Yin Constituting Form"

Abstract：Chinese Medicine posits that the development of metabolic syndrome（MS）is atributed to the imbalanceof "yangtransforming intoqiand yinconstituting form."Thisarticle elaboratesontheunderstandingof this theory and analyzes MSas acondition characterized byroot deficiencyand branch excess.The rootcause lies in the failureof the spleen to transportandthefailureof clear yang toascend，whilethe branch manifestations include he internal generation of yin pathogens such as phlegm-damp and static blood.The treatment primarily focuseson raising yangand fortifying the spleen，while alsoaddresing theremoval of yin pathogens.Depending on the predominanceof phlegm-dampor static blood，the treatment is modified accordingly，flexibly employing methods such as dispeling dampness and directing the turbid downward，invigorating blood and unblocking collaterals.This approach provides a certain perspective for the treatment of MS.
