Abstract：Infertility incidence is rising globally every year，and in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer（IVF-ET） has become one of the main treatment methods to achieve conception.However，a larger proportion of infertile patients stillis unable to conceive pregnancy for the lower successful pregnancy rate of IVF-ET.Acupuncture exerts unique effcts as an adjuvant therapyof IVF-ETand has achieved good results in clinical application.This paper reviews the current status and relationship between acupuncture and IVF-ET，further demonstrates the role of acupuncture therapy for IVF-ET，and discusses its direction of subsequent development.
