The Current Research Status and Hotspots in the Field of Diabetes Mellitus with Hypertension Based on Bibliometric

Abstract Objective: To analyze the research results, current status and hotspots of diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension to provide corresponding references for the future development of research in this field. Methods: The Web of Science database was used as the source of article data, and bibliometric software such as Microsoft Office Excel 2021, VOSviewer 1.6.20, and CiteSpace 6.4R1 were applied to visualize the publication volume, journal distribution, author and institution cooperation, national(or regional) cooperation, keywords in the field to display the research results and hot frontiers in the field. Results: A total of 1 514 related articles were finally included, most of which were published in disease-related journals. A total of 283 authors from 546 institutions took participated in the study of diabetes mellitus with hypertension, and research in this field showed publication volume and cooperation intensity from United States and China. The research focus in this field included epidemiological research, clinical treatment, effect evaluation of diabetes mellitus with hypertension, and there were 10 meaningful results were obtained by cluster analysis. The current research focus was the medication adherence, mechanism and burden of diabetes mellitus with hypertension. Conclusion: Current research indicates that diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension shows certain academic value and clinical significance, and related studies are flourishing with considerable academic heat. In the future, with the continuous heating of research in this field and the strengthening of cooperation and exchanges among countries(ro regions), new and innovative research results in this field will inevitably emerge.

糖尿病是临床常见的慢性病,高血压为临床发病率较高的心血管系统疾病;这二者由于影响因素或危害的共通性常以共病的形式存在于同一病人中[1-2],且这两种疾病在临床实际中的共存现象已被广泛证实[3]。(剩余11360字)
