Spatial Identification and Tourism Suitability Evaluation of Cultural Tourism Corridor Centered Bashu Grotto Temples

Abstract：Taking the Sichuan-Chongqing region as the research area，and based on the cultural heritage of groto temples at the provincial level and above there，the CCSPM model was used to delineate the spatial scope of the Cultural Tourism Corridor centered Bashu grotto temples，and an index system was constructed from three aspects including cultural landscape traits，social factors and natural elements，so as to explore the suitability of corridor tourism.The research shows：（1） The influence range of Bashu grotto temples exhibits obvious spatial heterogeneity，forming a longitudinally extended groto temple cultural coverage zone in Ziyang and Dazu.（2） The spatial pattern and form of the cultural and tourism corridor centered Bashu grotto temples are determined by the characteristics of historical trafic arteries，forming a holistic spatial network pattern with lines connecting points and further evolving into networks.（3） The spatial distribution of tourism suitability along the Cultural Tourism Corridor centered Bashu grott temples is uneven，with a clear urban centripetal force.The tourism suitability of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is higher than that of the eastern and western mountainous areas.Based on this，the strategy is proposed to give full play to the leading role of linear cultural heritage and the core leading roles of Chongqing central urban area，Chengdu，and Ziyang-Dazu，and to construct the spatial network of Bashu grotto temple heritage along with the spatial pattern of tourism utilization featuring three cores and three belts.
