Robust Model Predictive Control Strategy Under Random Multiple-Access Protocol

Abstract: To effectively control systems subject to polytopic uncertainty under communication constraints,a robust model predictive control(RMPC) strategy that considers the random multiple-access protocol(RMP) is proposed.First,a closed-loop system model is constructed that constrains by communication limitations and parameter uncertainties. Second,the RMPC optimization problem is transformed into a convex optimization problem solvable online by utilizing parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions and linear matrix inequalities, thereby deriving sufficient conditions to ensure mean-square stability of the closed-loop system. Finaly,simulation case studies validate the proposed strategy. The results show that,after 10O independent simulation runs,the proposed strategy efectively guarantees closed-loop system mean-square stability under stochastic network conditions.
