【Abstract】ObjectiveTo explore the curative effect of flexibleureteroscopic lithotripsy （FURL）and ultramini-percutaneousnephrolithotomy （UMP） in complex upper ureteral stone （CUU）.MethodsA retrospective analysiswas performedon theclinical dataof98patientswith CUUinthe hospital betweenJanuary2023and December 2O24.According to differentsurgical methods，patients were divided intotheFURL group （n=42）and the UMP group scriptstyle（n=56 ）.The surgical indexes，pain degree and sources，inflammatory factors and complications in thetwo groups were compared.ResultsCompared with the FURL group，intraoperative blood loss was increased， operation time was shortened，stone clearance ratewas increased，and lengthof hospital stay was prolonged inthe UMP group （ P <0.05）.At1d and 3 d after surgery，there was no significant diference in visual analogue scale （VAS）scores between the two groups （P>0.05） .There was no significant difference in pain sources between the two groups （P>0.05）.Compared with theFURL groupat1d，3dand7daftersurgery，levels of serum interleukin8and interleukin -6 were decreased in the UMP group（ （P<0.05） .There was nosignificant differencein complications between the two groups （P>0.05） .There was no significant difference in the incidence of late complications between the two groups （P>0.05） . ConclusionBoth FURL and UMP have their own characteristics in the treatment of CUU.However，UMP has shorter operation time，higher stone clearance rate andmilder postoperative inflammatory response.
