【Abstract】ObjectiveTo analyze the application value of peripheral blood albumin,interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2R)and high mobilitygroup protein N2 (HMGN2)levels in diferential diagnosisof nontuberculousmycobacteria(NTM) pulmonary disease and pulmonary tuberculosis.MethodsThe clinical data of 62 patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosisadmitted from January 2022 to December 2O24 were collected.Among the patients,21 cases were diagnosedas NTM pulmonary disease (NTM pulmonary disease group)and 41 cases were diagnosedaspulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary tuberculosisgroup).Inaddition,3O healthyadultswhowere admitted tothe hospital forphysical examinationwere collctedasacontrol group.The general dataand laboratory indexes,such asperipheral blood albumin,IL-2R and HMGN2,werecomparedamong the three groups. Thereceiveroperating characteristic (ROC) curve wasused to evaluate the diagnostic value of peripheral blood albumin,IL-2R and HMGN2 on NTM pulmonary disease in suspected pulmonary tuberculosis.ResultsThe proportions of bronchiectasis complications and bronchiectasis shadow in the NTM pulmonary disease group were higher than those in the pulmonary tuberculosis group( P <0.05).The peripheral blood albumin in the NTM pulmonary disease group and pulmonary tuberculosis group was significantly lower than that in the control group( P <0.05),and thealbumin in thepulmonary tuberculosis group was lower than that in the NTM pulmonary disease group ( P <0.05).IL-2R and HMGN2 in the NTM pulmonary disease group and pulmonary tuberculosis group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05).IL-2R in the NTM pulmonary disease group was lower( P <0.05), whileHMGN2 was higher than thatin the pulmonary tuberculosis group( P <0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that peripheral bloodalbumin,IL-2Rand HMGN2werestatisticallysignificantinthediagnosisofNTMpulmonary disease ( P <0.05),and the AUC value of the combination of the three items was as high as 0.904( P <0.05). ConclusionAlbumin,IL-2R and HMGN2 maybeof great significance intheauxiliary identification of NTM pulmonary disease and pulmonary tuberculosis,and are beneficial in guiding clinical diagnosis and treatment.
