The Application of UAV Oblique Photogrammetry Technology in a Rural Housing Survey

Abstract: [Purposes] To explore the application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) oblique photogrammetry technology in rural housing surveys and to provide a technical pathway for rural real estate management and ownership registration.[Methods] Taking the rural housing survey project in Xing'an County, Guangxi as an example,this paper systematicaly elaborates on the application steps of UAV oblique photogrammetry technology,covering aspects such as field data collction,control point layout,real-scene 3D modeling,digital line graph production,and data quality inspection.[Findings] Accuracy verification showed that the mean plane positional error was ±2.3 cm, and the mean edge length error was ±3.15 cm, meeting the accuracy requirements for rural housing surveys.[Conclusions] UAV oblique photogrammetry technology captures high-resolution images from multiple angles and generates high-precision 3D geographic information models,significantly improving the efficiency and accuracy of data collection.
