Abstract:[Purposes]To investigate the influence mechanisms of petroleum-based,bio-based,and composite rejuvenators on the road performance of high RAP content asphalt mixtures,addressing issues such as insuficient crack resistance and poor workability.[Methods] The compositional characteristics of three types of rejuvenators were systematized through literature review; the influence paterns of rejuvenators on mixture performance were analyzed based on Marshall stability,dynamic modulus,MSCR, and other tests.[Findings] Petroleum-based rejuvenators exhibit strong softening ability,primarily reducing asphalt viscosity through physical softening;bio-based rejuvenators,rich in polar functional groups,can chemically modify aged asphalt; composite rejuvenators comprehensively improve performance through synergistic effects. Appropriate dosage can make key indicators of high RAP mixtures approach those of conventional mixtures.[Conclusions] Rejuvenator type and dosage are key factors for performance recovery. Composite rejuvenators demonstrate significant comprehensive advantages,and future research should focus on long-term aging mechanisms,standard specifications,and novel rejuvenator development.
