Application Research of Transient Electromagnetic Prospecting TechnologyinStructural Surveyof theFractureofGuishan

Abstract:[Purposes] To investigate the distribution of faults in the Guishan Fracture Zone,comprehensive geophysical prospecting methods were used to conduct geophysical exploration work in this area. [Methods] The transient electromagnetic method was applied to carry out field experiments on the Guishan Fracture,so as to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and correlations of the fractures. [Findings] Interpretation of the three geophysical profiles obtained by the transient electromagnetic method confirmed the presence of four faults in the survey area,and alowed for the calculation of their depths,fracture widths,and layer thicknesses.[Conclusions] The results demonstrate that the transient electromagnetic method is an effective means for detecting fractures in topographically complex mountainous areas,providing a basis for exploration and development in the region.

0 引言

瞬变电磁法最早应用于地质勘探,20世纪30年代西方国家已开始采用瞬变电磁法,由于脉冲激发的瞬变电磁响应频率比较低,无法进行有效识别导致其效果并没有超过地震反射法;70年代以后,瞬变电磁法开始广泛使用,例如在地热调查中采用了长偏移法;80年代以后,伴随着研究者对瞬变电磁法更深人的研究,加之计算机技术的发展,瞬变电磁法在演示模拟方面有较大突破[1-2]。(剩余3596字)
