Research on the Deformation Law of Overlying Rocks After Mining in Shallow Buried Working Faces and the Repair Technology of Heavy Haul Lanes

Abstract:[Purposes] To addressthe issue of subsidence in heavy-duty surface highways caused by shallow mining,it is necessary to study the deformation laws of the overlying strata above the mined-out working face.[Methods] Taking the mining of the 51114 fully mechanized mining face under the heavy haul lane of Jintong Coal Mine as an example,through monitoring of surface subsidence and analysis of surface deformation characteristics,the deformation law of overlying rocks after mining in the shalow buried working face and its impact on the heavy haul lane in the subsidence area were systematically studied.[Findings] The results show that afterthe mining of the 51114 working face,the overlying rocks exhibit caving characteristics that are "rapid and extensive",along with complex stress efects featuring alternating and superimposed "tension - compression".[Conclusions] Such complex stress and deformation patterns caused fractures,compression,or collapse in the upper heavy haul lane,resulting in steps, slopes,distortions,or voids on the road surface,which severely impacted transportation safety.Based on this,a repair strategy of "first soft paving,then hardening" was adopted for the heavy haul lane,ultimately enabling successul coal mining under the highway while ensuring the safe operation of the heavy haullane.This study provides practical experience for the repair and treatment technology of ground subsidence in shallow coal seam mining.
