Abstract: [Purposes] The buck chopper (BUCK circuit) is widely used,but its output voltage has a steady-state error during open-loop operation,which makes it dificult to meet practical application requirements.Therefore,simulation research is necessary to improve its performance.[Methods] Based on the principle of PWMclosed-loop negative feedback PID control,a simulation model was established using SIMULINK.A closed-loop negative feedback control strategy was introduced into the circuit to perform closed-loop regulation of the output voltage,which can eliminate the steady-state error,but its dynamic response is not fast enough. Therefore,composite control combining open-loop and closed-loop was considered,aiming to both eliminate the steady-state error and accelerate the dynamic response. [Findings] Through the design of the simulation model and the tuning of verification parameters,the results show that the composite control combining open-loop and closed-loop can effectively eliminate the steady-state error of the output voltage of the BUCK circuit and meet the system's requirement for a fast dynamic response.[Conclusions] By using SIMULINK simulation to quickly adjust parameters and conduct repeated experiments,complex real-world scenarios were simulated at extremely low cost and risk, greatly enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of engineering experiments.
