Theoretical and practical surpassing of Chinese-style modernization over dependency-based modernization

Abstract：Human society's development requires a higher-level and higher-quality modernization model. Chinese-style modernization represents a new form of human civilization.Its pioneering theories and practices have broken the stereotype that modernization is equivalent to Western-style modernization，providing a new alternative path for developing countries to break free from dependency dilemmas and independently pursue modernization.Through comparative analysis，this paper systematically examines the theoretical and practical surpassing of Chinese-style modernization over dependency-based modernization.Theoreticaly， Chinese-style modernization adheres to Marxism as its guidance，a people-centered development philosophy， the coordinated development of material civilization and spiritual civilization， harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature，and a path of peaceful development. Practicaly， it upholds te overalleadership of the Communist Party of China，follows the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics，and pursues the goal-oriented approach of high-quality development.The research conclusions hold significant reference value for other developing countries to escape the“path dependence”on Western countries' modernization models.
