Abstract[Objective] The aim is to study the relationship between β -amylase activity intensity and dry mattr accumulation in sweet potato storageroots,ichnproideceaitoretcalbasisdpractcalasisfseetpotatoreedingadulivatioMethdpmentwascariedoutieLuxiExperimntalBaseofancongAcademyofgriculturalSienesinDiferentsofsweetotatoterials(dry rate and yield)were used,according to the dry rate grade(high dry ⩾32.00% ; medium dry ⩾28.00%-<32.00% ; low dry < (204号 28.00% )and yield grade (high yield, ⩾37.5Vhm2 ; middle yield, ; low yield, <30.0t/hm2 ),12 different sweet potato varieties were divided into 9 types to study the change of β -amylase activity in various types of sweet potato tubers at different periods and its relationshipwithdrymateraccuulationofstem,leafandstoragerots.Result]5Odaysaferplanting,underhightemperaturend drought, β -amylaseactivitywasatthefistpeak,andthedrymatersynthesized wasusedtoresisthightemperatureanddroughtandshoot growth.When the storage roots start to expand in the middle of growth β -amylase activity was at a low level,under the rainy conditions at the later harvest β -amylase activity was high.[Conclusion] β -amylase activity is higher in the early and late stages of sweet potato growth,and lowernthemidlestage.Tereiscertainnegativecorelationbetwenamlaseactivityandtheexpansionofprodutorgansadstorage roots.
