Abstract:In order to investigate the efects of important buildings and structures on the upper part of the slope under excavation and water storage,physical experiments areused to explore the changes of stressdeformation, surface setlement and pore water pressure of the slope rock massin the process of excavation and water storage. Meanwhile,deformation,failure characteristics and laws of the slope and fault tectonic zone under excavation and water storage are analyzed.The results shows that excavation willead to the redistribution of the stress of the rock mass,the stress of slope surface will change greatly,and the upper wallrock mass will have a relative dislocation trend along the fault fracture zone under the action of self-gravity during excavation.At the initial period of water storage,the surface is compacted by the dynamic and static water pressure,the internal pore water pressure increased,theslope is deformed to the freeside,andalsosetlement trend appearsat the top.Theresults can provide a basis for the prevention and control of landslides in high and steep open-pit coal mines.
