Abstract：Theconstructionof ideologicalandpoliticaleducationinthetourismmanagementmajorofappliedcolegsand universitiesisofgreatsignificanceforcultivatingculturalandtourismtalentsthatmeetthenedsofsocietyTakingtheourse TourismRouteDesignasanexample，thispaperanalyzesthepredicamentsexistingintheconstructionprocessofthiscourse， suchasinsuficientexplorationofideologicalandpoliticalelementsinthecourse，relativelysingleinformatizationmeansof ideologicalandpliticaleducationintheourse，thendtoreconstructthepracticalteachingcontentofideologicalandpolitcal educatiointhecourse，andtheneedtoimprovetheevaluationoftheteachingefectof ideologicalandpoliticaleducatioin thecourse.Thepracticalconstructionofideologicalandpoliticaleducationinthiscourseinmultipledimensionssuchasthe teachingstaffcourseobjectives，coursedesignteachingmethodsandmeans，couseresources，andteachingefectswasexplored. Ithasbeenproposedthattheideologicalandpolicalelementsshouldhighlightthenationalstrategy，payatentiontothe applicatioofinformationtechnology，relyontheintegrationofcompetitionandteachingtocultivatestudents’skils，and strengthenthepracticalinnovationof"fieldclasroom".Therelevantresearchisofreferencesignificancefortheconstructionand reformof ideological andpolitical education in tourism management courses in application-oriented universities.
