Abstract: The stator core and winding configurations in permanent magnet motors were complex. When performing finite element simulations of vibration and noise,failure to apply equivalent treatment would compromise the accuracy of the simulation calculations. This paper employed an inversion method, commencing with modal testing of stator components to extract the 2nd~4th order cylindrical mode under both pre- and post-winding assembly conditions.Leveraging experimental data,a high-fidelity simulation model of the stator core was developed to derive the equivalent mechanics parameters. With the validated stator core simulation model,two winding modeling approached equivalent mass method and equivalent model method were implemented. Simulation-to-test comparisons revealed significant discrepancies in the equivalent mass method.Finally,elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio for the winding equivalent model were inversely identified via modal test data. The equivalent model demonstrats less than 5% error in modal simulations.
